Adam Plowden is a videographer and motion graphics artist from Surrey. He studied Television and Video Technology BSc, after realizing his creative passion for media. Being a motivated opportunist, he’s had the pleasure of working with many companies and brands producing cinematic immersive videos and media, gaining industry experience, a vast skill set and recognition in the industry; recently winning an honorary membership to the IET and the Engineering Student Award from the IABM.
As he enjoys all parts of the production workflow, his experience ranges from audio and lighting for live events, broadcasting, camera operating and DSLR videography through to color grading, post production and motion graphics where Saul Bass is a key influence to his work. He’s also designed & engineered a professional camera rig which is now in production.
He has benefitted greatly from working with like minded creative's, which has allowed him to extend his skills and get a deeper understanding of the video and broadcasting industry, especially after working with Vivid Broadcast, Manfrotto, the BBC's Eddie Botsio and as an audio assistant at the London 2012 Olympics, where he worked at the hockey, rhythmic gymnastics and closing ceremony to name a few.
Adam’s current ventures include producing videos for Moet Hennessy and Bremont Watches, but he is always searching for new innovative techniques and challenges to embark on.
Adam takes his camera wherever he goes. A great photo or video can happen anywhere at any time, you've just got to add your creative touch to bring out your interpretation of the image. So videoing nature to live music, and even building electronic circuits for camera gadgets is something he does when he’s not working! That and working with Particular in After Effects to create mind blowing effects!
