Manfrotto Bolsters its Advanced Bags Collection with New Travel Backpack

07/07/2014 —

Upper Saddle River, N.J. (July 7, 2014) – Manfrotto, a leading global innovator and manufacturer of premium photo and video support products and accessories, has unveiled a new travel backpack in its Advanced Bags Collection -- the MB MA-BP-TRV.  The perfect travel companion to the Manfrotto BeFree Tripod, this new backpack features a unique carrying slot in the extendable side-padded pocket, designed to fit the BeFree and other compact travel tripods.  The interior of the backpack was created to provide the durability, flexibility and ease of use that travel-minded photo enthusiasts demand.

The new backpack is the perfect solution for the photographer who loves to travel and seeks to carry their photographic gear and personal belongings in one compact, comfortable bag. As part of the Advanced Bags Collection, the travel backpack features reliable, hard-wearing fabrics, great construction quality and professional features in an elegant design. Key features of the backpack include:

·         Superior Protection – Manfrotto Camera Protection System (CPS), which provides protection at its most vulnerable spot – at the center of the bag, where the lenses are stored. The CPS consists of specially structured 3D foam encasing dividers at the center of the bag, which reduce shock, and absorb and dissipate the force of impact, providing superior protection.

·         Durability Material combination offers functional as well as aesthetic impact. The backpack has a rugged durable bottom half, made by High Density Nylon Fabric and a smooth and equally durable nylon material on the top. It also has carbon detailing, tying it all in with the Manfrotto Italian heritage.

·         All-In-One Solution – The travel backpack is divided into two main compartments. The upper section is dedicated to personal belongings, while the bottom section has a quick side access. It can carry a DSLR with attached lens, two additional lenses, flash and accessories. Additionally, a 13" laptop can be stored in the dedicated back compartment. The bag can also be converted in to an everyday backpack by removing the main compartment divider.

·         Stylish Innovation – The style and unique detail of the new backpack has been specifically designed to serve as an ideal companion for the BeFree travel tripod. The innovative extendable side-padded pocket makes it possible to easily add additional space to the bag by simply unzipping the pocket to insert a travel tripod.

Manfrotto’s Advanced Bags Collection is designed with the passionate photographer in mind, including advanced hobbyists and amateurs, who carry both personal and photo gear on a daily basis. The range includes six different basic bag designs, each in various sizes, including: active backpacks, tri-backpacks, gear backpacks, active slings, shoulder bags and holsters.

Manfrotto’s new BeFree travel backpack is available now at retailers nationwide for $165.00.
